On August 21, 2025, the "Joy of Reading" Futian District Special Session for Young Lawyers, co-hosted by the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, organized by its Youth Lawyers Committee and Futian District Lawyers Committee, and supported by Guangdong Chenggong Law Firm, was successfully held. The event was presided over by Mr. Li Zhaohua, an Equity Partner at Guangdong Chenggong Law Firm. Through diverse formats such as book sharing and intellectual exchanges, the event created an immersive learning and professional interaction platform for young lawyers.
At the start of the event, Luo Zhenhui, Vice President of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association and Managing Partner of Guangdong Chenggong Law Firm, stated in his opening remarks: "The growth of young lawyers requires dual nourishment from professional competence and humanistic spirit." By sharing his personal insights on reading and experiences of publishing books, he emphasized the importance of continuous learning for legal practitioners. He also announced that the firm’s Youth Lawyers Committee would soon launch a series of reading activities, encouraging young lawyers to enhance their professional competence through reading.
During the book sharing segment, participants introduce the book's content and highlights, followed by in-depth discussions and exchanges.
Amidst the rhythm of background music, lawyers formed a circle and completed the book drifting ritual through a "drum-passing flower" ceremony. Subsequently, each participant held the book they received during the drifting activity and posed for a commemorative group photo.
This "Joy of Reading for Young Lawyers" event not only built a communication platform for fellow legal professionals but also sparked professional reflection through book sharing, supporting young lawyers in growing amid the enriching atmosphere of literature.
